FAQ
Will the PDF keep the original image quality?
The image keeps its pixel dimensions and proportions, but it is re-encoded as JPEG at 92% quality. This is a lossy conversion, so fine text and sharp lines may change slightly. Transparent areas become white. The tool does not add OCR or make photographed text searchable.
What are the file and image limits?
Add up to 20 images, each at most 50 MB, with no more than 100 MB in total. Each image must be at most 20 million pixels and 16,384 pixels on either side. MB means one million bytes here. The finished PDF is also limited to 100 MB.
How do I change the order of PDF pages?
The list shows the exact page order, starting with page one. Use the Move up and Move down buttons beside an image to move it one place. These buttons work with Tab and Enter or Space. Removing or rearranging an image discards the previous result so you can create an updated PDF.
Are files uploaded, and which browsers can I use?
Files stay on your device; nothing is uploaded or stored between visits. Image processing uses a worker and requires browser support for OffscreenCanvas and createImageBitmap. An unsupported browser shows a message. Animated PNG and WebP files are rejected. Clear stops an active conversion, and a stalled job ends after two minutes.
